Template System Demo
Welcome to Scout Hosting's demo of our CMS (Content Management System) designed for Scout units and based on the phpwebsite system. We encourage you to mess around and create entries and see how easy it is to create a website directly from your computer online.
Many units find that by utilizing this interface, many people within their unit can update the site as needed without having to go through a central webmaster.
To login to the control panel and test the features utilize the following:
username: scout
password: scout

You show several different template themes on your site, how do I try differerent ones?
You can try out the many Scout oriented templates we have quite easily. Login to the site using the administrative credentials provided.
- Choose the Administrative Tab
- Choose The Layout Admin icon
- Utilize the drop down menu at the top to select the theme you would like to use. Click "Set Default Theme"
In the same area you can change the name of the site as displayed in the top bar. By default it is set to "Demo Site"

A block is a small tidbit of information that you can post to your site. You can choose which modules. Blocks can have Bold Text or other formatted text including links.
You can also choose which module pages the block is displayed on. |
